Practice will begin on Monday, March 11, 2024 after school in the RMMS gym.
In order to practice, you must complete your Physicals and Consent forms and return them to Coach Morris by Friday, March 8th.

Stinger Swag/Cold Weather Gear:
Parents may order sweatshirts, sweatpants, shirts and beanies at the RMMS clothing website from Fuel’d Apparel. This way, athletes can receive their warm Stinger clothing before the season. We will be using a local supplier for quick turnaround, and you will be able to pay for everything online and pick it up yourself.

Team and Individual Photo Day with Bell Photography:
Team and Individual Photo Day with Bell Photography: We will be taking team and individual photos through Bell Photography Friday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. The Bell photo packets will be handed out at the parent meeting and will be available to students in Coach Morris’s room. Options range from $25 to $55, and include different photo sizes, as well as photo magnets and even a magazine cover. What to Wear To Practice and Meets:
Students need to report to practice with good running shoes (not basketball or street shoes), warm sweats, gloves, and a water bottle. Students should go to meets with warm sweats, a blanket, a beanie, plenty of water, and food. Meets in Idaho get very cold.

*Eligibility Requirements:
Meet Eligibility: To participate in a meet (an athlete must be academically eligible (see below) and have missed no more than one practice that week. If you are not at school on meet day, you may not attend the meet.
Academic Eligibility: Per district policy, athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0. We take academics seriously. Coaches will run grades before every meet. Ineligible students will not be allowed to participate in the meet or ride the bus. To participate you cannot have any D’s or F’s, and cumulative GPA of 2.0. This will be checked before every track meet. If you don't meet these requirements you will be ineligible for the meet that week. When your grades have improved you may participate in the next track meet.
RMMS Track received $17,600 in grants and matching funds last season (grant from Dick’s Sporting Goods and Brooks, Matching funds from District 93). We will have a throws circle with safety net on site this season, as well as a high jump pad and all accessories. Also new will be indoor hurdles, indoor starting blocks, shot puts and discuses, conditioning and training equipment, and more. We have also built a positive relationship with the Bonneville High School track program and are working together to make a smooth transition between our program and theirs.
