Originally from Ashton, Idaho, Mrs. Leslie Egbert has been teaching for 26 years, 17 of which have been teaching Language Arts at Rocky Mountain! Her mom was a teacher and many of her students have told her what a positive impact she had in their lives. Mrs. Egbert grew up watching her mom and the joy she had for being in the classroom and teaching. Mrs. Egbert knew that she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and to make a difference in the lives of her students. Her favorite part about teaching is meeting so many incredible and talented students. She loves being in the classroom and having class discussions or working on class projects. The students truly make it a joy to come to school each day, and she always looks forward to learning with them. She really enjoys being on her family farm up in Ashton, watching football games, reading and eating chocolate! She has an amazing husband and an incredible son and daughter-in-law.
