Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mrs. Casey McGillivary has been teaching for 9 years and will continue to teach at Rocky Mountain as a Special Education teacher. She became a teacher because she believes that all students can learn and should have equal opportunities to learn. She wants to focus on student’s strengths to help them succeed. Her favorite part of teaching is that no day is the same! Every day she gets to learn alongside students! In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, reading, gardening, and Lego. Her family (her husband, son, and two huskies) loves to camp, hike and travel across the country. If she could live anywhere, it would be in the zoo or in Disneyland!
