Mr. Ken Moeller, originally from San Jose, California, has been teaching for 32 years, all of which have been here at Rocky Mountain! After a number of years of teaching elective courses, Mr. Moeller will be teaching Social Studies next year. After getting to teach a lesson in a college class, it sparked an interest he didn't know he had, and he was hooked on teaching. It's all he’s wanted to do since 1986! His favorite part about teaching is when students learn new and interesting ideas and concepts, and you see the “light-bulb” come on. He also enjoys the relationships he has developed with staff and students over the years. When not teaching, he enjoys being with his family, reading, working with sport’s statistics, and hunting for rocks and polishing them. His wife teaches Kindergarten at Summit Hills, has three boys, has coached football, basketball, and track for 29 years, and served as Athletic Director at RMMS for 14 years. And his brother Greg is on the Idaho Supreme Court! One of his favorite quotes? "Perform at your best when your best is required. Your best is required every day." John Wooden
