While in college, he worked as a substitute teacher for the Pocatello School District, and after his first year at ISU, he began substituting as the middle school PE teacher at Franklin Middle School and loved it! After that, he decided to change his major to Physical Education. He then transferred to BSU and earned his degree in Kinesiology. He enjoys anything athletics, soccer (indoor and outdoor), basketball, wrestling, golfing, skiing, and weight lifting. A quote he lives by is, “I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death." - Leonardo Da Vinci
